WBHS Advisement

Mr. Mitchell gradated from Union County High School with honors in 2001. He went to Young Harris College in 2003 with honors. In 2005, Mitchell received his Bachelors' of Science in Education Cum Laude from The University of Georgia. During his time at UGA, he also got his Masters of Science Education in 2007 and Specialist of Science Education in 2009.

Mr. Mitchell's roles at WBHS include Environmental Club advisor, The Electric Vehicle Education Program advisor, 10th Grade Advisement Team Leader and Science teacher. He is also the current Teacher of the Year for Winder-Barrow High School and Barrow County Schools
